Long Stay Champion - Tortellini
Torti has been with us since November of 2020. She came into the rescue pregnant with a litter of puppies. After nursing her own pups, she also became the surrogate to another litter of pups and nursed them until they were old enough to eat wet food. When she arrived, Torti was shy and timid, but with the help of her foster, she has become more and more excited to meet new people and say hello. She loves to go on walks and needs them to help manage her remaining nervous energy. Torti enjoys laying by your side on the couch, bird watching outside, being scratched behind the ears, playing with chew toys, sun bathing, and her favorite thing in the world - tortilla chips. She will need a fenced yard. Torti is not very fond of change because she has had a rough life. This means she requires slow introductions with both dogs and people in order to prevent her from getting intimidated. She loves cats! Torti is spayed, crate and house trained, and is fully vetted.
Tortellini's adoption fee is $175
Long Stay Champion - Buddy
Buddy has been with us since July of 2020. He was found as a stray and is estimated to be about 5 years old. Even at 5 he is still an energetic boy so he would love an active human or family to call his own. Buddy is showing signs of hip dysplasia and will require daily exercise. Buddy will need to be the only dog in the home and will need a fenced yard because he likes to chase small furry things that look toys (squirrels, chipmunks, etc.) Buddy is neutered, crate and house trained, and is fully vetted.
Buddy's adoption fee is $175.
